Ambassadors
Holden was never about a person, it was about an idea—it was about making the best products we could for the community we live in and encouraging people in pursuit of their passions.
We proudly support a team of professional athletes and photographers as they explore what’s possible on the snow. We continue to join forces with other brands we respect so that we can all help sustain and expand each other’s great efforts. Equally we engage and directly interact with our consumers through both digital and traditional channels to have direct feedback from those we wish to serve but to support them in their efforts.
The whole is always greater than some of its parts, and we know that Holden would not exist without the support of our riders, photographers, designers, staff members, shops, fans, and loyal patrons. Rather than elevate one of these elements and market our product on that basis, Holden endeavors to elevate the whole by giving back to the community that has sustained us for so long.

- Where do you live?
- I live in many places- sometimes Portland, Oregon, sometimes Glacier, Washington, sometimes just drifting.
- Who is most likely to inspire you and why?
- Adventurers, cause they're out there doing stuff.
- When will you be happy?
- I'm happy right now. If you're always planning to be happy, you'll always be just that: planning. Be happy now to be happy.
- Why do you associate yourself with Holden?
- ‘Cause I've been a part of it before it was even it. Plus Big Mike started it and still runs it. He's the best. He's helped me out in snowboarding and in life more than anyone. Thanks Mike.
- What have you been riding in?
- I live in the Wittlake Bib Pant all winter ‘cause I live in glacier, which means you are really just spending all your time on the mountain. No other new fancy system keeps the storm out like good old fashioned bibs. They're the shit.
Also the Down Sweater, on and off the hill, even sleeping in it sometimes. It’s just so damn cozy. I love down. Nature is still the best technology there is.
And the Men’s 2L Bivy Rain Jacket for backpacking cause its so light and packable.

- My friends and heros. I look up to my friends a lot and people that I'm hyped on.
- When will you be happy?
- I'm trying to be positive and hype at all time. Sure life throws you melons so I’m pissed sometimes, but I feel that my soul is happy. Some kind of evil voice in my head will piss me off sometimes but that's all good.
- Why do you associate yourself with Holden?
- I really like the vibe of the company. I’m not gonna lie Mikey is one of my heroes for sure. I've done a trip with all the team and they're all my friends. All good people. Just the raddest brand.
- What have you been riding in?
- I've been so hyped on the Genuine Snow Denim, black. I've snowboarded in jeans forever and now I have jeans that don’t get all wet and are amazingly comfy. The fit is just perfect. Also the Barn Jacket has been my number one jacket all winter. A really thin street style jacket you can put a hood under and you're all good. The Edison Jacket also when it was colder a bit. Great fit, look like a mechanics jacket, love the style. When ever it was cold I was cruising around.

Marie Hucal
- Where are you from and where do you live now?
- I’m from a small town Brighton, Michigan. It is still home, when I’m not on the road
- What is your passion?
- Traveling to make memories with beautiful places and people I meet. I love sharing moments with others, enjoying the sweet nothings and expressing myself through snowboarding
- Who is most likely to inspire you and why?
- My two sisters Sarah, and Christine continue to inspire me, as they dream up almost unrealistic projects or goals and make them happen. I hear a story every so often of a new idea that is being pursued, and I want to get involved or follow in their footsteps.
- When will you be happy?
- When I seek the unseekable.
- Why do you associate yourself with Holden?
- The first Holden jacket I owned had a floral print that reminded me of the wallpaper in my old dollhouse. I relate with Holden in the sense that youth is found in our own environment. I think it is important to take a breath of fresh air from the place we were raised, and to share it proudly with others in the most unique way.. however that may be. I feel myself in Holden.
- What Holden piece do or did you live in lately? What do you like about it?
- This year I’ve been living in the Cumulus Down Jacket. It’s been great for unpredictable weather and It fits easily in my bags. It’s by far my favorite hiking and spring jacket! The Denims are a very comfortable snow pant with a good fit. They fade with wear and are good for wearing out into town after boarding.
- Tell us about your life?
- Frozen moments are my life in that I mostly shoot in or around the snow. Crappy puns are also my life, but they don't pay as well. I live in Portland, Oregon. Once I drank in a bar with Tom Robbins, but that was in San Francisco.
- What does A Life Well Led man to you?
- A life well lead is not settling, always strive for perfection. While this can be applied toward photography, I was actually thinking more along the lines of coffee. There is nothing better than a perfect cup and no better way of living.
- What Holden pieces are you riding in?
- The Cumulus Down Jacket is the perfect cozy piece to stay warm while I’m shooting in the coldest places in the world. Layering that under the M-65 Jacket with its multiple pockets so I don’t have to hold all the tricks up my sleeve.
